1、 Concept of engineering project Engineering projects mainly refer to various projects that are invested and constructed to form specific production capacity or use efficiency and form fixed assets, including construction and installation works and equipment purchase (such as purchase of aircraft, vehicles and ships).
2、 Characteristics of the project
1. Basic characteristics of the project
(1) Uniqueness. Uniqueness is also called uniqueness. Since each project has a specific construction time, location and conditions, its implementation will involve something that has not been done before.
(2) One time. One time is also called temporary. Each project has a definite starting point and end point, and the implementation of all projects will reach its end point, rather than continuous work.
(3) Fixity. All engineering projects include construction and installation works and are fixed in certain places, which are immovable. All engineering projects are restricted by the local resources, climate, geology and other conditions, which is the main feature of engineering projects different from non engineering projects.
(4) Integrity. The products of a project are often composed of multiple single projects and multiple unit projects, which are closely related to each other. Only when they are combined can the overall functions and benefits of the project products be brought into play.
(5) Irreversibility. After the project is completed, it will not be pushed over again during its life cycle, which will cause great losses.
(6) High uncertainty. A project usually takes several years from planning to completion, some even longer. The construction process involves a wide range of situations, which are complex and uncertain.
2. Engineering projects are more complex than general projects
The complexity of the project is mainly shown as follows:
(1) Complexity of project transaction and production process.
(2) The complexity of project organization.
(3) The complexity of the project environment. Environment: international and domestic political situation, society, economy, law, culture. The superior organization of the engineering project team and the organization of partners, as well as the construction and natural conditions of the project.
3、 Classification of engineering projects (2014)
Gansu Feasibility Study Report According to the investment source, it is divided into government investment projects, enterprise investment projects, foreign capital utilization projects and other investment projects;
According to the nature of construction, it can be divided into new projects, reconstruction projects and expansion projects;
According to the purpose of the project, it can be divided into productive projects and non productive projects;
It can be divided into industrial projects, transportation projects, agricultural, forestry and water conservancy projects and social projects according to the industrial field (2014);
According to the economic characteristics of the project, it can be divided into competitive projects, public projects and other projects.
International classification of projects:
(1) Production projects.
(2) Infrastructure projects.
(3) Social development and human resources development projects.
