(1) Report preparation should be concise and clear
1. Make the report logic clearer, the argument ideas smoother, the content expression clearer, improve the compiler's understanding and memory of the report, and improve the work efficiency in disguised form.
2. The concise content represents less words, which is equivalent to reducing the workload of report preparation, the workload of checking low-level errors in full text, and the workload of report modification, saving working time and increasing energy in disguised form.
3. The concise and clear report is also conducive to the review of experts and improves the impression score. The EIA expert review is subjective.
(2) Reduce report duplication
Too much repetition in the report also belongs to the problem of report conciseness, but here we should mention it separately. It is better not to repeat the descriptive, analytical and argumentative content in the report. There are too many repetition contents. Once the report modification is involved, all the repetition contents need to be modified. If the modification is not comprehensive, there will be contradictions and problems.
The description, analysis and argumentation of my ideal EIA report can only appear once where it is needed. However, the reality is very skinny and difficult to achieve. If some content is inappropriately repeated, experts and approvers may not see it, and then think that the report lacks relevant content. Therefore, we should try our best to avoid meaningless repetition of relevant content, and repeat content in places where it should not appear, especially in places where it may need to be repeatedly modified. (3) Pronouns should be unified
Some nouns will inevitably appear repeatedly in the report. If these nouns are not unified, on the one hand, the report content will appear messy, on the other hand, it will also lead to low-level errors in the process of repeated revision.
(4) Use generic pronouns
For example, "the project" is used to replace the project name, and "the project location" is used to replace the place name of the project site, so as to reduce the repetition of the project name and place name, and reduce the amount of modification after the change of relevant content.
(5) Delete unused words in input method
Many typos and wrong words in the report are caused by the input method. When you find that you have typed wrong words through the input method, delete the words related to the input method.
